We’ve enjoyed another wonderful season sailing daily from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly, spotting an array of spectacular wildlife along the way. Dolphins, porpoises and sunfish to name just a few have made regular sightings.
We’ve seen some outstanding sunrises, sunsets and sun filled days; the islands have had a wonderful season with some fantastic weather and fabulous events to match. But, it’s that time of year where the Scillonian III comes to the end of her season and enters the Dry Dock in Penzance for her winter maintenance program, where she gets ready for next year’s sailing season.
For your enjoyment, we’ve pulled together a few pictures from 2016.

The Scillonian season has now finished until Easter next year, which see’s her maiden voyage to the Isles of Scilly. Skybus operate regular flights to the Isles of Scilly from Land’s End and Newquay through the winter.
